Since settling in Geraldton in 1980, Henry spent two years in the building industry as a carpenter and then 20 years in a major family business which has seen the regions highs and lows. With time spent as Chairman of the Geraldton Tourist Bureau and still being involved with an accommodation outlet, Henry has remained in touch with developments and has always held the belief that Geraldton was destined to be a thriving coastal city. Rik completed his schooling and apprenticeship in Geraldton and is very familiar with the area. Renown for his time as an announcer on commercial radio in Geraldton John changed careers late in 2004 when he joined Ray White Financial Services as a mortgage broker.
